Christmas Lunch

The annual pre-Christmas Lunch prepared by the Friends of Home-Start, Uttlesford,
held at Clavering Village Hall, was once again a great success.
Our loyal supporters and Volunteers provided
invited guests with a mouth-watering lunch. This popular event provides guests
with an opportunity to purchase their Christmas Gifts from stall-holders and
raises a very welcome large amount for our scheme: a successful wine raffle
alone raised over £500.
 Retiring

Our sincere thanks go to the Friends
Committee; Vivian Falk, Jackie Casement, Delia Hill, Jane Holford, Emma Kaye,
Ann MacDonald, Judy Marshall, Jane Milton, Fran Morgan, Bruce Munro, Angela
Purves, Sarah Scruby, Anne Tozer, Christine West, who have organised and catered
for this occasion over the last 20 plus years.
Whilst continuing to assist with the lunch,
the Friends Committee is now handing over to two of our volunteers, Christine
Holt and Mary Greenwood who will lead next year’s preparations.
